Product Availability Notice: The Gamet B-310 is currently temporarily out of production. Contact Gamet Manufacturing for current availability, replacement options or assistance selecting an alternative quality-control sampling system.

The Gamet B-310 Quality Control Sampler was developed for automatic sampling of grain, meal, powders, pellets and other flowable dry bulk materials in quality-control and bagging applications.
Unlike the fixed-volume A-310, the B-310 was designed to provide greater control over sample size and timing, with both pneumatic and electrically operated configurations.
Although the B-310 is currently temporarily out of production, this page remains available as a technical resource for existing equipment owners and facilities evaluating Gamet quality-control sampling options.
Adjustable Dry Bulk Quality-Control Sampling
The B-310 was designed for applications requiring more control over the sampling cycle than a fixed-volume sampler.
The sample probe is constructed from 2-inch-diameter stainless steel tubing and can penetrate approximately 4 to 10 inches into the product flow depending on system configuration.
Materials that can be sampled include:
- Grain
- Meal
- Powders
- Pellets
- Feed products
- Other dry bulk aggregate materials up to 1/2″ in diameter
Adjustable Sampling Frequency and Timing
The B-310 sampling cycle was designed to provide independent control over both the sampling interval and the amount of time the probe remains outside the product flow.
This provides additional flexibility when configuring sampling around different product flows and quality-control requirements.
Pneumatic and Electric Operating Options
The B-310 was offered in both pneumatic and electrically operated configurations.
Pneumatic versions were available with 6-inch, 8-inch and 10-inch stroke cylinders.
Depending on configuration, the unit used either a 110-volt pneumatic directional control valve or a 110-volt linear actuator.

B-310 vs. A-310 Quality Control Sampler
The primary difference between Gamet’s A-310 and B-310 designs is the way the sample quantity is controlled.
The A-310 Quality Control Sampler collects a fixed volume during each sampling cycle and is currently the more relevant product to evaluate for many quality-control and bagging applications.
The B-310 was designed to provide greater adjustment of sample size and timing.
Because the B-310 is currently temporarily out of production, facilities considering a new installation should contact Gamet to discuss whether the A-310 or another sampling system is appropriate for the application.
Do You Currently Operate a B-310?
Existing B-310 owners may still need product information when evaluating their sampling process, maintenance requirements or potential equipment replacement.
When contacting Gamet, provide the model and serial number of the existing sampler along with information about the product being sampled and how the equipment is currently being used.
This will help our team understand the existing application and discuss available options.
Frequently Asked Questions About the B-310
Is the Gamet B-310 currently available?
The B-310 is temporarily out of production. Contact Gamet Manufacturing for the latest product availability and alternative sampling options.
What products was the B-310 designed to sample?
The B-310 was designed for grain, meal, powders, pellets and other dry bulk aggregate materials up to approximately 1/2 inch in diameter.
Was the B-310 available in pneumatic and electric versions?
Yes. Pneumatic and electrically operated configurations were offered.
Where was the B-310 designed to be installed?
The mounting system was designed for installation at the bottom of an inclined spout or bin.
What is the best alternative to the B-310?
The appropriate alternative depends on the material being sampled, required sample quantity, sampling frequency and installation arrangement. The Gamet A-310 should be considered for fixed-volume quality-control sampling applications.
Need a B-310 Replacement or Alternative?
If you currently operate a B-310 or were considering the model for a new application, contact Gamet Manufacturing before selecting replacement equipment.
Provide information about the commodity, product flow, sampling frequency and existing installation so our team can help identify an appropriate sampling solution.
