Vac-A-Sample Portable Sampling System

The Gamet Vac-A-Sample portable pneumatic sampling system allows facility managers to test grain conditions in bins or flat storage piles. This device is capable of obtaining samples up to 60 feet in depth. Two men can easily perform six or seven 60-foot sample probes in the span of a working day eliminating unnecessary shifting and turning of stored grain. Properly used this device eliminates unnecessary fumigation and grain damage saving your business from costly spoilage.

The sampler can be used in a bin or on top of a pile and retrieves samples by inserting a sample probe into the grain pile and turning on the vacuum system. This then allows the user to push the probe into the product to be sampled while product is conveyed through a flexible hose to a cyclone sample collector. Additional sampling depth can be obtained by use of additional sample probe sections that fit and secure together.

Each system will consist of the main cyclone assembly with vacuum motor, sample probe tip section, additional 4 foot long probe sections as needed, gooseneck sample tube connector, flexible hose assembly, section connection pliers and a lever yoke used to push the tube sections into the product. A variety of tips are available depending on the type of product to be sampled. All vacuum motors are supplied class II, Group G explosion proof for your safety.
